Start with your outcome

What are you trying to get done?

Use plain language. Include the output, who needs to edit it and whether this is a one-off task or a repeatable process.

Your next step

Turn this result into your own learning pathway.

Choose the outcome and experience level. The Hub will assemble a focused route from its approved tutorials and lessons, add the missing connective guidance, and keep the pathway in one place.

The words people mix up

Model, product, provider or harness?

01

Model

The engine that interprets or creates information: for example GPT-5.6, Claude, Gemini, Llama or Veo.

02

Product

The app you open, such as ChatGPT, Claude.ai or Gemini. One product may switch between several models.

03

Provider

The organisation behind a model or the service supplying it. API access routes are shown separately when another platform, such as OpenRouter, serves the model.

04

Harness

The working environment around a model. Codex, Devin, OpenCode, Antigravity and Buzz add tools, memory and workflows.

Browser, screen and recordings

The model needs a product or harness to act.

A model does not open a browser or record your screen by itself. A compatible product, API client or harness captures the screen, runs browser actions and returns the result. “Analyse screen recordings” means the supported interface can accept video; recording still happens in the host application.

Go beyond the shortlist

Learn why the models behave differently.

The AI Excellence Hub teaches model selection, APIs, local AI, costs, privacy and practical workflows—then lets you prove it through challenges.

How to use this finder

  1. Start with the input. A model cannot inspect your PDF, image, recording or video unless that input is supported.
  2. Check the output. A vision model that understands an image does not necessarily generate images.
  3. Check the tool layer. Browser and computer use require a compatible product or harness that executes the model's actions.
  4. Estimate the whole cost. Include input, output, media duration, tools, caching, hosting and your own engineering time.
